In November of 2015, world leaders gathered in Paris for COP 21. Negotiations led to The Paris Agreement, the first ever universal climate agreement. For the Paris Agreement to become legally binding globally, 55 countries accounting for at least 55% of global emissions will need to ratify the agreement. Coinciding with the debut of this collaboration, the agreement will become open for signatures on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2016, at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Countries have until April 21st, 2017 to ratify the agreement. If the required global participation is achieved, the Paris Agreement will be brought into action beginning in the year 2020. In collaboration with The Island School and former Island School student, Devin Gilmartin, we are proud to offer the 2020 Vision Tee. We are producing a limited run of 2,020 pieces and 20.20% of sales will go back to The Island School in Eleuthera, Bahamas in an effort to promote sustainability and environmental research.
