Ríos to Rivers programming inspires the next generation of river stewards. The Ríos to Rivers Paddle Tribal Waters program offers cost-free courses for Indigenous youth to train together on their ancestral rivers, learning whitewater kayaking, cultural revitalization, environmental education, and advocacy for their rivers and the benefits of dam removal. 

In 2025, the program led the historic First Source to Sea Descent of the undammed Klamath, a 310‑mile journey on the newly undammed river that showcased the power of youth leadership and intertribal collaboration.

The Future is Free-flowing, and as our youth say, this is just the beginning.
