THE RESPONSIBLE COMPANY FOR EVERYONE®
Leaders in Education and Leaders in Sustainability

The University of California, Los Angeles, has a deep-rooted history as a pioneer in both on- and off-campus sustainability initiatives. What began with early energy-efficiency efforts and the creation of the Institute of the Environment and Sustainability in the 1990s has grown into a comprehensive initiative that connects staff, departments, and students across the university, as well as members of the broader community.

In 2022, UCLA released its first sustainability plan, marking a significant milestone in the university's commitment.

Through a shared commitment to sustainability, Recover is proud to partner with UCLA to provide 100% recycled spirit wear, as well as on-campus T-shirt recycling collection, helping support a more sustainable future for students, staff, alumni, and the environment.
