Over the past 15 years, we’ve partnered with running events across the country to make sustainability a key initiative. Reducing waste and promoting eco-conscious practices are essential for minimizing environmental impact and encouraging participants to embrace sustainability!

Recover takes a holistic approach to sustainability for our event partners.

We provide custom athletic wear made from certified recycled materials and made in our HyperLocal Supply Chain– offering participants a high-performance race shirt that is sustainably produced.

Our Planet-Approved merchandise for race expos also features a selection of performance gear and lifestyle apparel for participants to wear.

With our ability to create zero-waste online stores for races as well, we can utilize our print-on-demand capabilities to print and ship orders as they are placed, further reducing our environmental impact by eliminating waste from unused inventory.

Our 360° Closed Loop Apparel Recycling Program also offers an in-person event activation where participants can recycle old race tees and event promoters can recycle leftover participant tees responsibly. Our 360° Closed Loop Program gives these pieces new life by diverting them from the landfill and recycling them into new apparel.

Taking things a step further, we also create Impact Stats to highlight savings across various environmental categories, quantifying the positive environmental impact that races have when working with Recover.

By partnering with Recover, race organizers not only reduce waste and their footprint but also inspire participants to make more eco-conscious choices throughout their race experience and beyond.
